MSHA Officers Montana Heritage Defense Fund

MSHA's Mission Statement

The Montana State Houndsmen Association was organized more than a decade ago as a not-for-profit group of volunteers who are promoting hound-hunting in the state of Montana. Its purpose, as stated in the MSHA Constitution, is fourfold:

  to promote fellowship and friendship,
  to promote sound game management,
  to promote a positive image of houndsmen, and
  to hold field trials and other events for hounds.

Montana Heritage Defense Fund

The officers and members of the Montana State Houndsmen Association have set aside a war fund account called the "Montana Heritage Defense Fund" (MHDF) for the specific purpose of keeping the tradition of hunting a legal sport in Montana. MSHA has received support from the Montana Chapter of Safari Club International for the MHDF. Any donations would be appreciated and should be made payable to Montana State Houndsmen Association and earmarked for the Montana Heritage Defense Fund.
